Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to support their Customer Success team in creating polished, easy to follow video content that helps customers get the most out of our products. This role will focus heavily on product tutorials and in-app help content, so an eye for UI detail matters as much as editing craft. This role is fully remote, working any time zone within the United States.
REQUIREMENTS:
* A professional and practical application can supplement education; Portfolio will be required
* 3+ years of experience creating and editing product support videos that will assist customers in completion steps and tasks
* Strong video editing skills, including sequencing, pacing, and transitions, along with audio mixing
* Basic animation or motion graphics experience (text callouts, cursor highlights)
* Solid project management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple videos at once
* Strong attention to detail, especially when capturing product UI and UX accurately
* Ability to follow brand guidelines closely and consistently
Must have tools experience:
* Video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc.)
* Screen recorders (Camtasia, ActivePresenter, etc.)
* Audio tools
* Exact tool examples can vary but should fall into these categories
Nice to have:
* Scriptwriting and storyboarding
* Experience creating software tutorials or how-to content
* Familiarity with accessibility best practices (closed captions)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
