About the Position

We’re seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee the day-to-day social presence and strategic direction of several brands. This person will manage content planning, coordinate creative development, communicate with clients, and use social performance insights to continuously improve results. This role is not with an agency, it is more of a family office environment where the company owns and operates several companies/brands.

The role also includes managing paid social initiatives in line with approved campaign and promotional strategies. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple brands with different audiences, industries, and voices.

What You’ll Do

• Create and implement social media strategies tailored to individual client objectives, target audiences, and brand identities.
• Own social content planning from calendar development through client approval, scheduling, publishing, and final quality checks.
• Write engaging, platform-appropriate copy, including captions, creative briefs, and scripts for short-form content.
• Generate concepts for Reels and other short-form video, collaborate with designers and creators, and handle filming or editing when necessary.
• Serve as the social media lead during client calls, providing updates, presenting insights, and recommending new ideas or opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day community interaction across social channels, including responding to comments and messages and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Monitor social trends, competitor activity, and audience behavior to uncover relevant content and growth opportunities.
• Review account and campaign performance, create client-facing reports, and turn analytics into specific recommendations and action items.
• Manage approved paid social promotions across Meta and TikTok, including campaign setup, launch, ongoing monitoring, budget and spend tracking, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Assist with influencer and creator collaborations, including coordination and execution of associated deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in social media, with hands-on responsibility for both strategy and execution.
• Experience overseeing multiple brands or client accounts; agency experience is a plus.
• A portfolio demonstrating social campaigns, short-form video work, and measurable outcomes, with your specific role clearly outlined.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, with the versatility to maintain distinct brand voices across clients.
• Practical experience shooting and editing short-form video and Reels using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or native social-media editing tools.
• Experience creating, launching, and monitoring paid campaigns through Meta and TikTok.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Confident client-facing communication skills, including presenting ideas, leading conversations, and developing effective creative briefs.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Additional Experience That’s a Plus

• Managing influencer and creator relationships and campaigns.
• Experience with campaign attribution, tracking, and conversion-focused reporting.
• Advanced video production or editing capabilities, including on-location content creation.
• Experience working with clients across a range of industries, audiences, and brand categories.
