Commercial Construction SuperintendentPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for mid-to-large scale commercial projects. The superintendent will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring work proceeds according to schedule, drawings and specificationsDevelop, maintain and communicate detailed project schedules; coordinate sequencing of trades and deliveries to meet milestonesManage subcontractors and on-site labor, including performance monitoring, safety enforcement and productivity optimizationEnforce site safety programs, conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsPerform quality control inspections, resolve construction issues promptly and maintain accurate records of deficiencies and corrective actionsCoordinate material procurement and logistics with project managers and suppliers to avoid delays and minimize costsReview plans, submittals and RFIs; collaborate with project management and design teams to resolve technical and constructability issuesPrepare daily reports, track progress against budgets and schedules, and provide regular updates to project stakeholdersFacilitate site meetings with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors; document decisions and action itemsMentor and develop junior field staff, promote best practices and support continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsMinimum 7+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive superintendent or lead foreman responsibilitiesProven track record managing mid-to-large scale commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, medical or industrial)Strong knowledge of construction methods, means and materials, reading blueprints and interpreting specificationsExperience with project management and scheduling tools (Procore, Prolog, MS Project or similar)Demonstrated commitment to safety with OSHA 30-hour certification preferred and experience enforcing safety programs on-siteExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve conflictsStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, problem solving and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentValid drivers license; trade or construction-related degree/certification is a plusKey skills: Construction, Commercial Construction, Superintendent (preferred)BenefitsSalary Based on Experience: $120,000 - $150,000/yearVehicle AllowanceMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401kPaid Time OffCareer Growth Opportunities
